How cooking can save your health

I love cooking. I love discovering yummy recipes and trying to create my own (not always successful ?) but I try. Somewhere along the way we have lost the ability to cook a delicious and nutritious meal for ourselves because we have been “brainwashed” into believing we don’t have the time, it’s too hard or we just don’t know how.

When we cook our own food from scratch we know exactly what we are eating. When we buy food already prepared there is a multitude of ingredients that could possibly be inside that meal/food which we have no idea about. And the truth is most of the ingredients in pre-packaged foods are not real ingredients. They are some made-up version posing as real food.

We need to rethink what we eat and what we classify as food. Just because it is sold as food does not mean it is food. Let’s ignore the advertisers trying to trick you into believing their product is going to make your life sooooo much better. It probably won’t.

Food does not have to be hard. There are many recipes which take no time at all to make and will leave you feeling satisfied and best of all, healthy! It is time to rediscover your kitchen.

Because a healthy kitchen means a healthy you. ?
